NEWS: Kansas City placed OF Kyle Isbel on the 10-day IL with a hamstring strain and recalled OF Nate Eaton from AAA-Omaha.

IMPACT: Medium

BHQ SPIN: Isbel, who has been Kansas City’s primary centerfielder this season, is expected to miss around six weeks after suffering a hamstring strain in Thursday’s game. We’ve cut a portion of Isbel’s projected playing time and split it between Eaton and Jackie Bradley Jr. For the time being, it is expected that Eaton and Bradley Jr. will split centerfield duties in Isbel’s absence, with Maikel Garcia potentially mixing in as well. It is possible that Drew Waters (oblique) will also figure into the centerfield mix if he can return from injury before Isbel....
