Free-agent OF J.D. Martinez (Diamondbacks) and the Boston Red Sox have reached a deal, according to a source. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.  Source: ESPN - Pedro Gomez
 
BHQ take: The terms of the deal now have been announced (5 years, $110 million, $50 million in the first two years, and opt-out after those two years), but AL-only leagues are already excited to see Martinez's bat added to the middle of the Red Sox lineup and enhancing the counting stats accordingly. Net home park effects with the move suggest a minor (4%) BA boost offset by a minor (6%)...
