PT TODAY: Kelenic making his spring statement

Mariners

NEWS: Seattle OF Jarred Kelenic continues his impressive spring.

IMPACT: Low

BHQ SPIN: Kelenic’s retooled swing and approach are thus far paying dividends as he’s gone 14-for-29 in his first 11 spring games, which comes with four HRs, two walks, and two steals. Kelenic hasn’t had much direct competition for the LF job once OF Taylor Trammell went down with his hand injury early this spring, so we’ve been slowly bumping up his playing time as Kelenic’s torrid spring continues. We now have Kelenic sitting at 75% total playing time.
