NEWS: Philadelphia placed LHP José Alvarado on the 15-day IL with left elbow inflammation and reinstated RHP Andrew Bellatti from the 15-day IL.

BHQ SPIN: Alvarado’s MRI showed only inflammation and no other issues, so he will be temporarily shut down from throwing but appears to have avoided a lengthy IL stint.
