| BHQ take: The “UCL issue” was of the worst-case variety, and a second diagnosis confirmed that Walker will require Tommy John surgery. This will, of course, end Walker’s 2018 season and eat into 2019, and just as ARI had to do almost exactly a year ago with Shelby Miller (TJS), they will be auditioning replacements.
