Mariners | Drew Smyly to start season on DL
Seattle Mariners LHP Drew Smyly (elbow) will start the regular season on the 10-day disabled list because of a flexor strain in his elbow. General manager Jerry Dipoto said Smyly likely will be out for six to eight weeks.  Source: The Tacoma News Tribune - Bob Dutton
