Marlins | Giancarlo Stanton placed on disabled list

BHQ take: Word out of Miami is that Stanton underwent an MRI showing the injury to be serious, and that it is likely that Stanton will miss the rest of 2016. Obviously, this is a huge blow to the Marlins and to his fantasy owners. Notably, this makes yet another season in which Stanton has suffered a major injury.
