BHQ take: Melancon's arrival in Washington comes about a year after they acquired Jonathan Papelbon. Papelbon was okay in August and September of 2015—BPV's of 83 and 93—and earlier in 2016, but recently the wheels have fallen off. Over his last three games, he's only managed to pitch a total of one inning, and he's given up seven earned runs in that span. So far in 2016, Melancon has an 8.2 Dom, a 4.2 Cmd and a 121 BPV.
