NEWS: Edwin Díaz was helped off the field after injuring his right knee during Puerto Rico’s celebration after defeating the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic.

IMPACT: High

BHQ SPIN: Díaz couldn’t put any weight on the leg and ultimately needed a wheelchair to get to the clubhouse; initial reports were that the injury was serious. It’s too soon to know how much time Díaz will miss, so we’ve only made minor reductions to his projected innings and saves. The Mets plan to send him for imaging Thursday.
