Detroit Tigers SP Justin Verlander (triceps) had an MRI exam Thursday, April 16, and the results confirmed he has a triceps strain, according to head athletic trainer Kevin Rand.  Source: MLB.com - Jason Beck
 
BHQ take: Verlander has yet to make an appearance in 2015, and the odds of his returning shortly seem to be shrinking. LHP Kyle Lobstein remains in the rotation to take Verlander's turn.
