BHQ take: We’ve been gradually moving a higher percentage of saves to Neris, but he still will need to pitch well to hold off competition in the Phillies’ bullpen. As Greg Pyron noted in his March 27 Facts and Flukes column, Neris wasn’t as bad as his 2020 xERA of 4.61 would suggest. He continued to miss a lot of bats and had an elite Swk. The main culprit in his performance was an uncharacteristic BB% of 13%. Neris had never...
