NEWS: Philadelphia re-signed Aaron Nola to a seven-year contract.

IMPACT: High

BHQ SPIN: Nola is coming off a season in which he had his highest xERA of his career (3.80) some other concerning trends, such as a decline in K% and K-BB% when compared to the past few seasons. However, his durability and 5th-straight 200-K season (outside of 2020) indicate there’s plenty of value to be found in the righthander. Just don’t expect ace-level stats.
