NEWS: Texas acquired resurgent LHP Aroldis Chapman from Kansas City for LHP Cole Ragans and prospect OF Roni Cabrera

BHQ SPIN: LHP John King was sent to AAA-Round Rock among a few minor TEX transactions today; essentially, that’ll be Chapman’s roster spot. This seems likely to be the first of several moves by the Rangers to shore up the weakest link in their ballclub, the bullpen. Chapman has rebounded well from a down 2022, with SwK numbers back to elite levels and an xERA in line with his best seasons.
