Washington Nationals OF Ben Revere (oblique) was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a right oblique strain Wednesday, April 6. The transaction is retroactive to Tuesday, April 5.  Source: MLB.com
 
BHQ take: Updating the April 6 note on Ben Revere, the news wound up not so good with the Nationals' center fielder headed to the DL. Michael Taylor will get the starting nod most of the time in place of Revere, and, as predicted, Matt den Dekker returns from Triple-A.  —Phil Hertz
