Angels | Garrett Richards needs Tommy John surgery
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim SP Garrett Richards (elbow) has a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow and is expected to undergo Tommy John surgery, according to a source. The tear was found Thursday, May 5, after he was scratched from his upcoming start due to what was cited as dehydration.
