Nationals | Tanner Roark being stretched out
Washington Nationals SP Tanner Roark will transition back to a starting job and he is expected to return to the big league club Sept. 1 when roster expand. If all goes well he will take the rotation spot of SP Joe Ross, who has pitched more innings than before in his career. Roark is set to throw around 60 pitches for a start with Class A Potomac, with his next outing set for 80 pitches. Then, he will head back to D.C.  Source: NatsInsider.com - Chase Hughes
