Phillies | Carlos Santana agrees to terms with Phils
The Philadelphia Phillies agreed to terms with free-agent 1B Carlos Santana (Indians) on a three-year contract worth $60 million Friday, Dec. 15, with a $17.5 club option for the 2021 season, according to multiple sources. The deal is pending a physical and does not contain a no-trade clause. The Phillies will lose their second-round pick in the 2018 draft, along with $500,000 in international signing bonus money, because the Indians made Santana a qualifying offer.  Source: MLB.com - Todd Zolecki
