NEWS: Colorado 3B Elehuris Montero has only started one game since 4/17 and 2B/SS Alan Trejo has started every game since 4/17.

BHQ SPIN: Montero finds himself in the manager’s dog house after Bud Black had seen enough defensive miscues at 3B. Ryan McMahon has started every game at 3B since 4/17 after starting the season as the main second baseman. With McMahon’s move back to 3B, Trejo has primarily been the recipient of additional playing time at 2B along with IF/OF Harold Castro drawing one start at 2B. Montero was batting .260 with a HR thus far, but has a ct% south of 60% and an xBA of .203. Trejo is more of a utility player than regular, as he doesn’t flash much power or speed....
