Texas Rangers C Geovany Soto (knee) will miss 10 to 12 weeks with a torn lateral meniscus in his knee, and he's likely to have surgery Wednesday, March 26.  Source: Fort Worth Star-Telegram - Jeff Wilson
 
BHQ take: Soto (pictured above) will miss about the same amount of time as Jurickson Profar. Initially, one would think this move benefits Arencibia, but TEX manager Ron Washington has not endorsed the more experienced Arencibia, instead talking up journeyman Chirinos. The two may share duties equally until Soto returns....
