NEWS: Philadelphia placed Ranger Suárez on the IL (hamstring) and recalled Andrew Bellatti from Triple-A

BHQ SPIN: Suarez has had a meh season - 4.09 xERA, K-BB% of 13%, 90 BPV. He hopes to be back in a fortnight; nevertheless, we’ve cut him by about a third to a 6% projection going forward. Philadelphia had been using a 6-man rotation, and the Phils may just go back to a 5-man rotation. If they decide to maintain the 6-man rotation, Matt Strahm may be an option. He started the season in the rotation, but he’s been so good in relief that the Phillies may be loath to tamper with the pen.
