Red Sox | Shane Victorino activated
The Boston Red Sox activated OF Shane Victorino (hamstring) from the 15-day disabled list Thursday, April 24.  Source: The Sports Network

BHQ take: Victorino was inserted in the #2 position in the BOS lineup on April 24, after recovering from hamstring issues in spring training (and thumb surgery during the off-season). Only a minor playing time adjustment for now, as BOS is expected to be careful with Victorino's AB total at the outset, with Grady Sizemore sliding over to RF when Victorino is out of the lineup.   —Matt Dodge
