BHQ take: A Grade 2 strain isn't great, with recovery usually measured in months rather than weeks, though perhaps Voit can beat that timetable. The Yankees essentially have two options to cover for Voit's absence: simply plug Ford into Voit's lineup spot, or shift D.J. LeMahieu over to first base and have Odor cover second base.
