NEWS: Kansas City placed LHP Cole Ragans on the 15-Day IL and designated RHP Trevor Richards for assignment. In corresponding moves, RHP Lucas Erceg was reinstated from the 15-Day IL and RHP Jonathan Bowlan was recalled from AAA-Omaha.

BHQ SPIN: Ragans, who returned from the IL last week after being sidelined due to a groin strain, will now go back on the IL due to a rotator cuff strain. Ragans will undergo more testing to determine the severity of the strain, but early indications are that it will be a lengthier IL stint than his previous one.
