Ragans, Wacha set to rejoin Royals rotation

NEWS: RHP Michael Wacha and LHP Cole Ragans are expected to return to Kansas City’s rotation this week.

BHQ SPIN: Kansas City announced on Sunday that Wacha will be reinstated from the 7-day concussion IL to start on September 16 and that Ragans will be reinstated from the 60-Day IL to start on September 17. The team had been utilizing a bullpen game for one rotation turn since Wacha landed on the IL, so the addition of both pitchers gives the team six healthy starters.
