Ragans, Wacha set to rejoin Royals rotation

NEWS: RHP Michael Wacha and LHP Cole Ragans are expected to return to Kansas City’s rotation this week.

BHQ SPIN: Kansas City announced on Sunday that Wacha will be reinstated from the 7-day concussion IL to start on September 16 and that Ragans will be reinstated from the 60-Day IL to start on September 17. The team had been utilizing a bullpen game for one rotation turn since Wacha landed on the IL, so the addition of both pitchers gives the team six healthy starters. As of now, it remains to be seen how the team’s rotation will be affected.
