NEWS: OF Victor Scott II strengthens his bid for the regular centerfield job.

BHQ SPIN: We had already moved Scott (+10%) ahead of OF Michael Siani for a bench role, but now he also moves ahead of 2B Nolan Gorman (-10%) as well. Scott has flashed unexpected power this spring (1.113 OPS, 42 PA), and while he’s performed well in previous spring trainings, this level of power is new. Gorman was originally slated for regular infield work (especially when a preseason trade of 3B Nolan Arenado seemed more likely), but Gorman may now have to force his way into the lineup from a bench role.
