NEWS: The Toronto Blue Jays announced that DH George Springer has sustained a fractured left big toe during Saturday's game against the Twins.
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: The 36 year old Springer was forced to come out of the game after fouling a ball off of his foot in the third inning. The toe fracture was announced after the game. Expect a trip to the IL, but length of recovery time has yet to be determined. Myles Straw replaced Springer in the lineup, but he is better suited to serve as the backup outfielder on a day-to-day basis. In the short term Davis Schneider could be the beneficiary of increased playing time as the Jays are really banged up with Alejandro Kirk and Addison Barger on the shelf. In...
