NEWS: The Dodgers placed RHP Edwin Díaz on the 15-day IL with neck inflammation and recalled RHP Emmet Sheehan from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

BHQ SPIN: Díaz has struggled since returning from the IL on July 29, giving up 16 H, 11 ER and 2 HR, with 5 BB, 2 HBP and 9 K in 9 appearances covering 7.1 IP. It is unclear how long he will be out, but the initial indication from the Dodgers is that he will return this season and we are adjusting his playing time and save opportunities (-2% IP, -45% SV) assuming he will return in early-mid September for now.
