NEWS: Arizona placed OF Tommy Troy on the 10-day IL with a right AC joint sprain and recalled 1B Tyler Locklear from the minors.

BHQ SPIN: Troy will open the second half on the IL with an injury that is expected to sideline him for roughly three to four weeks. The rookie hadn’t done anything special at the plate in his debut campaign, slashing .223/.299/.364 (134 PA) through his first 39 games, but had maintained a significant role in the Arizona outfield. With Troy out, a player with the same initials, Tim Tawa, will see more PT.
