Twin returnees: Lewis and Castro activated in Minnesota

NEWS: Minnesota activated 3B Royce Lewis and UT Willi Castro from the injured list and optioned 2B Edouard Julien  and 2B Mickey Gasper to Triple-A St. Paul.

BHQ SPIN: Lewis is expected to make his 2025 debut on Tuesday. He suffered a hamstring strain in spring training. He has a power bat the Twins need, but he has been plagued by injuries throughout the past four seasons. In 2024, Lewis (+15%) hit .233 with 16 HR and 47 RBI in 325 PA. He played in six minor league rehab games before he was activated on Monday. He’ll see time at 3B and get some time at DH.
