NEWS: The Toronto Blue Jays reinstated OF Daulton Varsho off of the 10-day IL; 2B Charles McAdoo was optioned to AAA-Buffalo in a corresponding move.

BHQ SPIN: Out since June 9 with a wrist injury, the 29-year-old Varsho immediately reclaimed his role as Toronto’s primary center fielder without the need for a rehab assignment. In 65 games this season, Varsho is slashing .256/.329/.419 with six home runs. Varsho has traded power (87 xPX) for contact (78 ct%) this season so far, but a career 120 xPX indicates that there may be a power surge coming if he can remain healthy.
