Verlander slots back into SF rotation

NEWS: San Francisco activated RHP Justin Verlander from the 15-day IL and optioned RHP Tristan Beck to the minors.
IMPACT: Medium
BHQ SPIN: A pectoral strain held Verlander out of action for nearly a month, but looked solid in his return without making any rehab starts. The future Hall of Famer failed to came one out short of five frames, but allowed just three earned runs while fanning six against the Guardians. Verlander (+3% PT) will be counted on to eat more innings moving forward after the club traded members of the pitching staff to the Red Sox over the weekend. Beck will head back to Triple-A after pitching to a 4.50 ERA (12 IP) with a 2% K-BB% during his four-week stay with the big league...
