NEWS: Minnesota placed RHP Zebby Matthews on the 15-day injured list and activated RP Danny Coulombe from the IL.

BHQ SPIN: Matthews (-3%) has a right shoulder strain and there is no timetable for his return. He will be shut down from throwing for at least two weeks. Simeon Woods Richardson (+3%) is expected to take Matthews’ spot in the rotation. Woods Richardson has made three starts in the minors since he was sent to AAA. In those starts, which totaled 17 innings, he gave up 15 H and 8 R with 19 K / 4 BB. Woods Richardson tossed 37.2 IP with the Twins earlier in 2025, posting a 5.02 ERA with 35 K / 14 BB.
