NEWS: The Yankees are expected to place OF Aaron Judge on the 10-day IL with a flexor strain.

BHQ SPIN: Judge first began to experience pain in his elbow in the team’s July 22 game, served as the team’s designated hitter the following night and then had trouble throwing balls in from the outfield on Friday night. Both Judge and manager Aaron Boone are hopeful that Judge will be able to return after the minimum 10 days. Judge received a platelet-rich plasma injection July 26, intended to speed up the healing process, though whether 10 days is a reasonable timetable for Judge remains to be seen.
