PT TOMORROW: AL Central—Is Miggy back this year?

Detroit Tigers

Miguel Cabrera (1B, DET) is ready to put his back problems behind him. After grinding through persistent pain last year, the perennial All Star turned a measly $6 profit after earning $21+ in roto value since 2004. He did hit his first HR of spring training on March 17, but it wasn't that pretty. Back injuries can linger, and at age 35, who will fill his shoes if the need arises?

Backup catcher John Hicks (C/1B, DET) played 25 games at 1B last season and actually put up some decent backup catcher numbers (6 HR in 169 AB) that were somewhat supported with his power metrics (102 HctX, 119 PX/89 xPX). He can substitute at 1B a pinch, but he's not a long-term solution there and best profiles as James McCann's (C, DET)...

Almost!
