With a 749 ADP to begin the season, Jake Cronenworth (2B, SD) was a relative unknown both in real life and fantasy circles. He parlayed a strong spring into a regular gig by August, where he slashed .355/.408/.613 with 4 HR (1 SB) and set Twitter aflutter. The dreamy 26-year-old infielder could do no wrong ... until September, that is. His GB rate has climbed as thes season continued, while his walk rate has disappeared. Gone are the days of 1.000 OPS rates, and the grim reality of a 0.17 Eye (-2 BPV in 23 Sep AB) sets in. It may not yet be time to cut bait with Cronen-who(?), but can fantasy owners wait around to find out if lightning (in a bottle) can strike twice?
