PT TOMORROW: NL East—Phillies could soon shift outfield opportunities

After struggling at the start of the season, Nick Williams (OF, PHI) has picked up the pace in May (.946 OPS). In fact, Williams has recorded a May OPS that is nearly 300 points higher than his main competition for playing time, Aaron Altherr (OF, PHI). Altherr continues to draw his share of walks, but he trails Williams in all three phases of their slash lines this month. Williams is slightly behind Altherr in terms of May playing time, but he is an interesting add-and-stash candidate for owners who could envision him holding a larger role during June. The 24-year-old possesses some pop and has made progress on the awful plate discipline from his rookie season.
