Players with multi-position eligibility and I have had a love/hate affair over the years. First, I craved them; then, I thought they cost too much; and still later, I bought in again. Now, I just try to keep two around in case I need to make a quick rearrangement. Well, some of the time.
But what is the true value of these players? It’s time to get cozy with multi-position players and determine their true cost.
For those unfamiliar, these are players who are eligible to be slotted at several positions. The eligibility game total varies from league to league; the most frequent thresholds span anywhere from 20 games to 5 games, though in some leagues, the requirement is as low as one game.
