RESEARCH: Draft Simulations Retrospective

The first three segments of this series have focused on comparing valuation methods, evaluating replacement level adjustments, and identifying methods to take advantage of average draft position (ADP) data when competing in snake drafts. The next step in the process of using simulation studies to investigate how different strategies contribute to accumulating projected stats at the draft is to compare simulated drafts to actual end-of-season (EOS) outcomes. Therefore, the current study sought to examine the relationship between projected post-draft statistics and EOS results from 2016.
