RESEARCH: Odds of a player being traded

The major league trade deadline can be a stressful yet exciting time in AL and NL-only leagues. Fantasy and real team rosters can change in an instant, with teams buying and selling. The deadline can allow struggling teams to gain an advantage, or those with a lead can pad their advantage. And the movers have to come from somewhere as some owners will see their teams get gutted. By examining the trade trends from the past two seasons, some basic information can be gleaned.
