Our minors team will be evaluating prospects every-other week throughout the baseball season. They will provide updates on some of the risers and fallers along with providing injury updates and promotions/demotions.
INFLATION
Trevor Martin (RHP, TAM) was a 3rd round pick by Tampa Bay in 2022 out of Oklahoma State and the Rays have long thought highly of him due to his tall, large frame and heavy fastball. Despite two recent starts that weren’t up to standard, the 23-year-old is climbing the organizational charts due to a continued increase in his natural stuff. Thus far in High-A, Martin has a 4.66 ERA, 1.9 BB/9, and 10/9 K/9. He’s hitting his spots with all of his pitches – mid-90s fastball that now touches 98, hard slider,...
