MINORS: 2012 Futures Game Preview

The 2012 MLB Futures Game takes place July 8 as part of All-Star activities in Kansas City.  In this mid-week special report, Jeremy Deloney and Rob Gordon provide detailed scouting reports for both the U.S. and World squads.

The U.S. side is stacked on the pitching side, and features the top four picks in the 2011 draft: Gerrit Cole, Danny Hultzen, Trevor Bauer and Dylan Bundy.  The world side has fewer well-known prospects, but has a lineup that features plenty of speed and power and should provide a good test for the favored U.S. side.
