MINORS: 2014 Draft: Scouting round one

With the first round of the 2014 first year player draft complete, we take a look at each selection, provide a brief scouting report, and attempt to give some indication of how quickly the players might move along in the system. This should be helpful to give fantasy owners a first-taste snapshot of what to expect and who to invest in at this early stage of their pro careers.

As always, there were a few surprises along the way. The first came when the Chicago Cubs drafted Indiana backstop Kyle Schwarber with the fourth pick.
