MINORS: 2016 HQ100 in review

The 2016 minor league season is officially complete, and it's time for our annual look back at the HQ100 top prospect list. As usual, we targeted some prospects correctly; there were others where we missed the mark. 

There were a number of rookies who played prominent roles in the big leagues in 2016, particularly position players. Some, like Corey Seager (SS, LA), were expected to receive a significant amount of playing time and make substantial contributions. Others, like Tyler Naquin (OF, CLE), took advantage of injuries and put himself in the organization's good graces. Some rookies who make substantial MLB impact did not appear on the HQ100—Trevor...
