MINORS: 2016 Top third base prospects

This week we continue our annual review of the top prospects in baseball by position. Between now and Opening Day, we'll examine one position a week by looking at both those rookies ready to contribute in the big leagues now, as well as the top 15 long-term prospects at each position.

This position is often well-represented on the HQ100and this season is no exception. There are five total 3B in that exclusive list, starting with Joey Gallo at #11 and ending with Renato Núñez at #91. Jomar Reyes (BAL) also received consideration and could be poised to make an easy leap onto the HQ100 with a stellar 2016 campaign.
