The past two weeks, I have previewed rookies in the NL East, Central and West and the AL West, weighing in on their impact in 2023. Today, we preview the AL East and the AL Central rookie impacts for 2023.
Blue Jays
The Blue Jays' rookie impacts on the 2023 roster will be split between two different pitchers. Ricky Tiedemann (LHP, TOR) is the bigger name and he’ll likely be up at some point in the season to fill a rotation slot as the season wears on. Tiedemann has premium stuff. There will be a FAAB bidding war when he gets to the big leagues. Yosver Zulueta (RHP, TOR) is likely destined for a call-up relatively early in the season. There is potential Zulueta finds himself in a role to accumulate holds.
