MINORS: The Eyes have it - Henry Davis

It’s been a good year for previous year first round picks. Two weeks ago, we covered first rounder Andrew Painter (RHP, PHI), along with 2nd rounder Calvin Zeigler (RHP, NYM). Painter has thrown nothing but filth this year. He hasn’t given up a run, sports a 0.69 WHIP and is whiffing a bunch of hitters. Last week, I covered Matt McLain (SS, CIN). In a rarity, we upgraded his potential rating grade after he showcased additional power potential. He’s continued to deliver in the power department, hitting 2 more HR last week. This week, we turn our attention to the top overall pick from last year’s draft, Henry Davis. Let’s see how he’s produced thus far in High-A.
