MINORS: The eyes have it—Game looks at Betts, Binford, Crawford, La Stella, Judge

While in the past two weeks BaseballHQ.com has focused on the hot statistical starters in the minors, this edition will try to mesh those reports with some live game-action observations. Each of the players below has made some sort of noise in the first six weeks of action, some have even been covered in the past two weeks. Our attempt here is to add some color and physicality to the numbers. Like our earlier The Eyes Have It column in April, note that most of these are observations are just a one-game snapshot; the best prospecting occurs when one can gather information from multiple looks or sources.

Mookie Betts (2B, BOS) — age 21, Double-A Portland
