MINORS: The Eyes Have It—Ronny Mauricio, Mark Vientos, and Shervyen Newton

There’s one week left until the minor league regular season ends. With no playoffs within a three-hour drive of Northwest Georgia, my 2019 coverage is coming to an end on September 10th. The hope between now and the 10th is to write up some potential Top 100 prospects and write a narrative on potential ratings to round out my coverage.

This weekend presented an opportunity to follow up on prospects I covered earlier this season in the Mets organization. Dodging raindrops, I was able to get a good follow-up look at SS Ronny Mauricio (2019 Eyes Have It), an encouraging, albeit brief look at 3B Mark Vientos, and a very similar look to the one I had earlier this season at IF Shervyen Newton (2019 Eyes Have It).
