MINORS: The Eyes have it—South Atlantic League Notebook

The first half of the South Atlantic League (Sally) season is in the books. While the Tim Tebow promotional tour brought attention to the Sally, he was far from the story in the first half. The league was chock full of tremendous talent. At the plate, guys like Yankees prospects Estevan Florial (scouting report) and Nationals prospect Daniel Johnson (See Below) had break out first halves.  On the mound, a pair of Braves prospects, RHP Ian Anderson (scouting report) and LHP Joey Wentz (scouting report), made solid full-season debuts. However, the talk of the league amongst scouts was Phillies RHP Sixto Sánchez, who burst onto the scene as a legitimate top pitching prospect.
