MINORS: First-year player draft potential rating buckets (2023)

Photo: Chase Dollander (RHP, COL)

It’s time once again for my favorite article every year, my annual First-year player draft potential rating buckets article. This is the article where I get to throw potential ratings on everyone drafted in the first round. Unlike other years, I am covering every prospect from the 1st round through the competitive balance round A. Here are my previous editions below. Please excuse the 2020 Buckets article. We all, meaning the organizations, got most of the player evaluations wrong. I guess seeing prospects in the lead-up to the draft is really important.
